The Club has three Obedience Classes, all based around the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme. Class 2 trains to the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Bronze level, Class 3 is the Silver and Class 4, the Gold, there is however a degree of overlap in the various classes and their targets. The entry to a class is based on the dog’s capabilities and experience, not on the owners aspirations or expectations, and is subject to there being space available in that class. Promotion to another class is also dependent on space being available in that class as well as the dog’s (and owner’s) ability - unfortunately this is a drawback of our ‘roll on roll off’ based system. We reserve the right to treat a dog’s prior qualifications with circumspection. All classes may have observers present and trainee Instructors at any time.
