The Club regularly takes part in external events, usually for charitable causes.
One of our regular demonstrations is at the St Barnabas Summer Fair.
The Club views participation in these events as a valuable part of a dog’s
training, enhancing his experiences of unusual circumstances.
Surprisingly perhaps, the dogs usually rise to the occasion and astound their
nervous handlers by performing faultlessly.
At a recent St Barnabas Summer Fair, the Club put on demonstration of
obedience training and socialisation exercises as used at the Club, involving a
selection of dogs ranging from the beginners of the puppy class right through
experienced Class 4 dogs.
Pandora’s demonstration of an ‘emergency road stop’ was particularly
impressive and gained a much deserved round of applause.
